Yes, I did another one. I've been slowly working on it over the past week or so, though I guess it's kind of fitting to finish it right after the last post in this journal.

I'm sorry. :'|

Name: Artemis, aka Elizabeth Rowland, aka "the Starry Huntress"
Species/origin: human, Earth (England)

Strength: B-
Endurance: A
Agility: A
Magic ability: D
Luck: Ex

Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
She isn't particularly tall or short, and though she's very fit, her build isn't quite as muscular as she'd like it to be.

2. How old is she?
At the age of 19, she injected herself with ichor to slow her aging to a crawl. Physically, she's about 21 or 22, but thanks to her dealings with Orion and various timeline-hopping, she's no longer sure just what her actual age is.

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
She was raised as a proper girl, so of course she carries herself well.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
As with all other Orion field agents, she keeps herself in top physical condition at all times.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
She is usually pretty careful and graceful with her movements, though this tends to change depending on the situation and her temperament.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?
She is closely related to Mr. R by blood, she kind of has to be attractive by default. More seriously, though, she is very attractive, but due to certain events in her past, she tends to take her physical beauty for granted, if not outright resent it.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Her skin is very pale, and her complexion is clear apart from one notable scar (see below).

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
Blonde, darker than her brother's, long, thick, and wavy. She keeps it either tied back, up, or braided at all times when she's on the job.

9. What color are her eyes?
Originally light brown, but the ichor has given them more of a golden hue.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
In addition to the mandatory Orion three-star tattoo (located on the inside of her upper left arm), she has a large, jagged scar stretching from the left side of her neck down to her collarbone. Her hair and high-collared clothing tend to keep it hidden well enough that it usually escapes notice; even though it's part of what led to her becoming an agent of Orion, she doesn't like to talk about it.

11. What are her chief tension centers?
Her neck.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
Strictly utilitarian. Very rarely does she indulge in her not-so-secret desire to dress a bit more fancily, and usually only if Orion calls for it.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?
They're comfortable enough for her, though, again, she doesn't exactly relish dressing so plainly all the time.

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?
Given that she rarely ever has free time to begin with, yes.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
idk, ask Bones That's not a proper thing to ask of a lady :v

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Somewhat high-pitched. In choral terms, she'd be close to an alto.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate?
Levelly and evenly. However, if she's thinking too much, she does tend to be hesitant.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
She still has a somewhat vague English accent, despite her years with Orion.

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency?
English is her native language, and she is only passingly skilled with various Romance languages.

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
No, though she tends to use an informal register only around those she deeply trusts.

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words?
She has to give them a lot of thought, or else she ends up stuttering and hesitating.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
She is usually fairly eloquent, but this changes whenever she's upset or unsure of herself.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart?
She is well-educated, from both her (mostly) affluent upbringing and Orion's training, but she considers what she's learned from her experiences to be vastly more important.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate?
She definitely needs time to deliberate.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Life has taught her that emotions can't be trusted and hope may as well be worthless, so she thinks more along the logical/practical bent.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
She had a private tutor until her mother's death, and only continued her formal education at Orion's behest.

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about?
Outside of her Orion training, she knows plenty about class and other "proper," "ladylike" things. Though she'll deny it if asked, she's a naturally curious person, and will usually take the chance to further research anything or anyone with whom she's unfamiliar.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert?
Introvert.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
She is more prone to mood swings than she would care to admit, and is also easily annoyed or angered. But apart from that, she tends to be very positive about things (or at least tries to appear that way).

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Initially suspicious, though it doesn't take much to gain at least a small amount of trust or familiarity from her.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react?
React.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight?
Fight.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
She often has trouble understanding most contemporary humor, though she does appreciate sarcasm and wit.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders?
No.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person?
Being abandoned by her brother (and subsequently her mother, after her death); being romanced and then robbed blind by a then-disguised Quenby; her encounter with the Dark Regenerist, which led to her decision to pursue her brother; and nearly being killed by Quenby, whereupon she first met Auster, who led her to Orion.

14. What does she fear?
Being alone, left behind, or completely abandoned.

15. What are her hopes or aspirations?
Originally her ultimate goal was to find her brother, but now that she's accomplished that (and is not particularly impressed by her results), she's settled for destroying Quenby.

16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her?
Her issues with her brother, her issues with romance and men (as "the opposite sex") in general, her abandonment complex, the fact that she really does like dressing up and other girly things and being doted on and having those childish desires indulged in every way... Lots of things.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents.
Her father died when she was very young, so she doesn't remember him at all. She was close with her mother, but she died of illness (and likely grief) after Artemis's brother fled.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
She has one older brother, once known as Arthur Rowland, who now goes by the name "Mr. R." Before he left, he absolutely adored and loved her more than anything else, and she loved him just as much; afterwards, however, he did everything within his power to avoid seeing her again. Now that they have "reunited," so to speak, neither one seems to hold the other in nearly such high regards.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand?
None.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family?
Nope.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Auster. He saved her life after Quenby knifed her throat (although his healjob was quick and somewhat shoddy, resulting in her significant scarring), and ended up recruiting her for Orion after hearing her story.

6. Does she have other close friends?
She wouldn't consider herself close with the other agents, but she does consider them her friends.

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people?
Neither. She gets along well with others, but is more likely to keep them at an arm's length than allowing them to truly become her friend.

8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends?
Family.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed?
Uh. Taken?

10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
It's heading that way, I think.

11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest?
Her first was on a boy who frequented the shop she worked at in her youth (which eventually led to disaster); her latest is on a certain Dr. Leonard H. McCoy (:v), although that is a recent development.

12. What does she look for in a romantic partner?
Someone who won't leave her or betray her trust in any way, as well as someone who speaks genuinely and honestly rather than paying hollow compliments to win others over (ahem).

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any?
No, and although she has entertained the thought of children in the past, her current position with Orion bars her completely from procreation.

14. Does she have any rivals or enemies?
Quenby.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale?
Somewhere between 1 and 2.

16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her?
Fairly important, despite the fact that she never actually enjoyed sex until recently. She used to think of it as simple self-gratification (even if she didn't get much gratification out of it, herself), but now she's starting to come around to the idea that it's a truly mutual act.

17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
She isn't experienced enough to have any particular turn-ons/-offs or "weird habits," though it's worth noting that her neck is crazy sensitive.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type?
Her birthdate is November 12 (year indeterminate), and the Scorpio sign seems to fit her pretty well.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life?
Neither. Her view on this is pretty much in line with Auster's.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Though the morals and ethics of her original time period differ vastly from that of her current one, it didn't take her long to adapt, and she now lives by the same "code" that would be expected of any of her contemporaries. However, she would break any law or precept for the sake of those whom she cares for.

4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Mostly curious. Despite her original time period, and possibly thanks to Orion's training, she does a fairly good job of staying neutral/non-judgmental.

5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them?
After having been used and/or abandoned by most of the men in her life (who weren't associated with Orion, anyway), she is very slow to trust any man, especially those who try to flatter her or show even a hint of extended interest in her. It is really hard for a guy to win her over.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Like Auster, Orion pays her well enough for her to live comfortably.

2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her?
Currently, she could be considered upper middle-class. Her family had a fair amount of wealth while she was growing up, but by the time her mother died and her brother disappeared, that former wealth had just about collapsed entirely.

3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others?
She has an upscale apartment paid for by Orion, but she rarely spends much time there. After certain recent events, however, R has occasionally been staying with her.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on?
Not much at all, really. Outside of food, she's hesitant to "indulge herself" in anything that might not be necessary.

5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else?
She is an agent with Orion, working directly under Auster in its Gray Division. She has received enough training and had enough experience to be very good at what she does, and she doesn't so much enjoy it as she feels that Orion is the one thing truly giving her life purpose.

6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time?
She has a more-than-passing interest in fashion, but she spends so much time focused on her work that she really doesn't have any other interests or hobbies.

7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
She eats as much as she can whenever she can, due to her often irregular work schedule. While her eating habits aren't exactly the healthiest, she figures that her metabolism and demanding physical routine more than make up for it.

Associations
Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is her favorite:

1. Color? pale yellow or blue
2. Smell? fresh linen
3. Time of day? late morning
4. Season? spring
5. Book? no particular associations, but she is a fan of Dumas.
6. Music? "Black★Rock Shooter" (don't ask)
7. Place? Anchor
8. Substance? silk
9. Plant? none? (this is such a weird question)
10. Animal? no associations again, but she does seem to like horses.
