Thank you! ♥ I'm glad I got that across, since his magic really is supposed to be the most unique and powerful (except for Francesca's fff) in this story; it's already hard enough for anyone to use the kind of magic he does just standing still and concentrating really hard, but when he's managing to pull it off while bearing down on someone and swinging a sledgehammer at them... l-lol, yeah.
NO SHE'S NOT SCREWED, SHE'S ACTUALLY LIKE THE ONE PERSON HE CARES ABOUT I SWEAR. But yeah-- her perception of him doesn't line up with everyone else's (really strong and annoyingly stubborn softie VS two-faced bloodthirsty wolf), and while that's mostly because she sees sides of him that no one else does, her own perception isn't entirely correct either. But she figures that if he really did anything terrible in his past, he must have had a good reason for it, and even if he didn't then it doesn't matter now anyway because his job is to protect her damnit so get to it >( or something.
