hello, new ulti friends!

windhoverWelp, I'd say it's about time I made a new post. Let's see, quick rundown of the past few weeks:
* Got a netbook for Christmas. Yesssss.
* Went to the Gator Bowl with the band. We lost the game, but otherwise the trip was SUPER AWESOME. Pictures are here, now that I've finally gotten over my laziness and uploaded them.
* Started playing Persona (PSP remake) and 358/2 Days. Persona is pretty sweet, though I have yet to see what's so OMGSHOCKING and OMGGROUNDBREAKING about it/its plot. 358/2 is also pretty sweet, but the camera controls can go eat a dick. Seriously.
* Somehow I managed to pass French 204 last semester, which should mean I'm free and clear to petition for the 101 credit; farewell, foreign language requirement!
* Speaking of school, spring semester has started, and my classes are looking to be ossum this year: Japanese 204, WV History, Nordic Mythology, Religions of China and Japan, and... uh, Microeconomics.The last one not so much, but at least it's easy. Today marks the end of the first week, and already I've managed to draw two stupid doodles on my notes. I might upload them later if I am so inclined.
* Got braces the other day. Teeth still hurt. So hungry. :(
And some other notes that come to mind:

tenacious_stray. Not really sure why, since I only play this journal at one game and a DR, but it's tempting nevertheless.
* Speaking of profile layouts, I just wasted ten minutes dinking around with some code I found here for my own profile. It looks so tiny and bare now, but eh. That Last.fm plug-in didn't even do anything half the time, anyway.
* Need to do a canon review of Utawarerumono so I can app Kuuya at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
roleplayedingly. If all goes well there, and if my schedule will allow for it, I might try apping her at edensphere as well.
* Still need to trollthe_love_hotel one of these days. Hmm.
Also, one final message to all you ulti people/anyone else who might have recently friended me - I tend to do a lot of memes. Like, a lot. You have been warned.
